CSM is a service based division within the Halspan Group and is committed to providing an exciting new alternative to traditional veneer procurement practices.
The goal of CSM is to provide its clients within the wood products industry and the wider supply chain as a whole, the opportunity to access the veneer trades full range of veneers.
With the increasing use of timber finishes within front of house areas in both domestic and commercial buildings, greater attention than ever is being placed on the selection of material. This coupled with the reduction of quality raw material now stocked in the UK is leading to a demand for greater access to the producers of veneer.
By offering this access and becoming a partner in the supply chains procurement team, CSM believes it can add value to its clients businesses by removing unnecessary material cost and reducing expensive management time in sourcing, grading, selecting and management of their veneers.
Its service as the name suggests is split into three sections;
Consultancy - Working with specifiers, advising on suitability of species.
Sourcing - For users, locating and supplying tailored veneers to suit their manufacturing needs.
Management - Offering veneer management facilities taking responsibility for supplying co-ordinated veneers across multilet packages.
