Key Account Manager

Reporting to the Business Development Manager, as Key Account Manager at Halspan, you will continue to develop and execute agreed annual sales strategies and objectives to drive sustained growth and success for Halspan, covering both existing and new product lines within the UK market.

You will promote Halspan’s complete product portfolio, alongside its industry-leading compliance-driven initiatives, to all key stakeholders across the entire supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

    Drive revenue growth across Halspan’s full range of fire doorset components (cores, seals, essential hardware, and ancillaries) by proactively engaging with existing customer accounts and key stakeholders, strengthening long-term strategic relationships, ensuring customer retention, and overall satisfaction.

    Promote Halspan Verified by identifying opportunities within existing customer accounts, supporting product adoption by key stakeholders, and ensuring that all understand the value and benefits of Halspan’s comprehensive solution.

    Understand evolving customer needs, offering tailored support, and ensuring consistent communication to maximise account growth and reinforce Halspan’s position as a trusted partner.

    Maintain an up-to-date understanding of product demand, industry trends, economic indicators, and competitor activity. Analyse shifts in the market and report findings to management, supporting strategic planning and informed decision-making.

Additional Responsibilities

    Build on existing customer accounts across the UK, ensuring strong long-term relationships and unlocking opportunities that support Halspan’s overall market growth and strategic objectives.

    Play an active role in shaping UK pricing strategies and gross margin plans by providing account-level insights and contributing to the development and refinement of product price lists.

    Support the preparation of commercial proposals, including accurate sales estimates and formal quotations, and ensure efficient, timely processing of customer requirements into confirmed sales orders across Halspan’s full product portfolio, including door blanks, hardware, seals, and ancillary components.

    Maintain a strong level of professional and technical expertise by staying connected with industry developments, reviewing relevant publications, and cultivating valuable networks within the sector.

    Strengthen customer satisfaction within key accounts by helping to identify issues, conducting root-cause analysis where required, and working with internal teams to implement effective, sustainable resolutions.

    Ensure effective internal communication by collaborating closely with Halspan management and cross-functional teams, maintaining visibility of interconnected challenges and supporting alignment across the business.

    Apply industry knowledge and account insights to support wider business initiatives, contributing to strategic or developmental projects such as supply chain improvements, procurement efficiencies, and enhanced market positioning.
