Karen Clapham

Technical Department Administrative Assistant

Karen has over 20 years of experience in administrative and customer service roles with a background spanning the construction, local authority, retail and education sectors.


As Technical Department Administrative Assistant at Halspan, Karen supports the team by handling technical enquiries and coordinating with the relevant departments to ensure timely and accurate responses. She also manages all customer technical training requests including scheduling sessions and issuing completion certificates.


In addition, Karen supports the technical team by helping to create product datasheets and ensuring these are passed on to the supply chain team. She is also responsible for compiling product buying specifications and submitting them to suppliers for approval and signatures.


Outside of work, Karen enjoys walking, skiing, travelling, and relaxing with a good book.
