As Testing and Certification Process Manager at Halspan Limited, David is responsible for managing and overseeing the testing, and certification processes. 

He assists clients with technical queries that range from straightforward questions to more complex tasks such as reviewing detailed drawings and ensuring that they are permitted and covered under the associated evidence. 

In addition, David reviews reports and literature for technical content, runs R&D projects, attends product testing on behalf of Halspan and/or customer, and ensures all products comply with relevant regulatory standards and performance requirements. 

With over 30 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, David has spent most of his career focussed on the production and specification of timber fire doors across projects in all sectors. His experience spans the full lifecycle of fire door solutions, from technical design through to installation and compliance.
