Halspan’s Mia Norton Recognised as Rising Star at GAI Education Awards

Halspan is pleased to share that Mia Norton, Technical Support Coordinator, has been recognised as a Rising Star under the Diploma in Door Systems (DipDS) qualification at this year’s Guild of Architectural Ironmongers (GAI) Education Awards.

The GAI Education Awards, now in their 45th year, took place on 20 November 2025 at London’s Grand Connaught Rooms. The ceremony brought together industry professionals to celebrate the achievements of students from the 2024/25 education programme and to honour the top three achievers across each of the GAI’s education qualifications.

Speaking about her recognition, Mia Norton said:

“I’m honoured to be recognised as a rising star under the Diploma in Door Systems. The course has been a fantastic opportunity to deepen my technical knowledge and apply it directly to supporting our customers.

"I’m grateful to the GAI for this recognition and to my colleagues at Halspan for their encouragement throughout my studies. Congratulations also to Abbie Molesworth and Donal Fullerton on their achievements — it’s inspiring to be recognised alongside them.”
