Another impressive fire test result for Halspan!

We recently tested a pair of Halspan Optima 60 unlatched single acting doors in a hollow steel door frame to support one of our fire door fabricators on a prestigious, demanding project.

These doors were an amazing 2850mm high x 926mm wide and achieved a fantastic result of 64 minutes.

The test was carried out to BS 476 part 22 at a UKAS accredited testing laboratory in the UK.

This result bolsters Halspan’s already impressive scope for doors in hollow steel frames. Halspan cores, combined with our unique, purpose engineered intumescent seals and robust steel frame construction make us the market leaders in this application.
