On December 5th, our team had the privilege of presenting at a seminar organised by our Bahrain distributor partners Al Nooh, in the presence of the esteemed Bahraini Civil Defence, local fabricators, designers and specifiers.

The purpose of the gathering was to explore potential collaborative opportunities and to discuss the Golden Thread concept, a revolutionary approach to ensuring compliance, traceability, and adherence to fire regulations and specifications. We were encouraged by the supportive stance towards our discussion as we presented our Halspan® Verified scheme and Halspan® Tracker, two innovative tools that are designed to streamline the process of ensuring compliance with fire regulations and specifications.

The Halspan® Verified scheme assures quality across the door supply chain, covering production, testing, specification, fabrication, installation, inspection and ongoing maintenance of fire and non-fire rated doors. This unified approach meets the demand for accountability in regulatory compliance giving specifiers, regulators, and end-users confidence in the performance of these critical building components.

The Halspan® Tracker is our digital asset management system that provides real-time visibility into the compliance and traceability of fire-resistant door assemblies and other fire assets throughout their entire lifecycle. It uses Smart Tags attached to fire safety assets like door systems, which are tracked and maintained through an online system. The Halspan® Tracker app allows users to scan these tags, access quality assurance records, and update compliance information even when offline. This system helps building owners and facility managers maintain the complete digital record of inspections and maintenance, ensuring all assets comply with relevant regulations.

Together, the Halspan® Verified scheme and Halspan® Tracker provide a powerful toolset for ensuring compliance and traceability in the construction industry. We were delighted to discuss the potential benefits of these solutions with the Bahraini Civil Defence as well as engaging with a Q&A session with the audience on topics such as Halspan products, technical insights, fire standard certifications etc…

We would like to thank our partners Al Nooh for the event organisation and also express our gratitude to the Bahraini Civil Defence and all the attendees for their time and support of our discussion.

We are excited about the potential for collaboration and the opportunity to contribute to the safety and security of the built environment in Bahrain.
